These rugged highly efficient furnaces are designed for melting such metals as aluminum, brass, silver, and gold.  They combine fast melting with simple quiet operation.

The furnaces are made of heavy gauge steel.  The furnace linings are of highest quality super-duty hard-burned firebrick backed with over two inches of high temperature insulation to reduce heat loss and provide comfortable working conditions.

Controls, blower and safety equipment are contained in an attractive metal console, protected from dust and shop hazards.  The console is specially insulated for quiet operation.

Other features include: push button lighting, low  furnace height, special furnace lid that allows the operator to change the crucible through the lid, and the Johnson Safety System.

Honeywell R7354A Foundry Pyrometer

Accurately measures the temperature of nonferrous metals by immersing a protected thermocouple into the melt. Furnished with eight inch thermocouple and 25 foot lead wire.  Scale range - 0oF. to 2500oF.  For use with crucible furnaces.  Shipping weight is 15 Lbs.

Tongs and Shanks

Fixed bank single end and bent handle crucible shanks and crucible tongs are available.  When ordering, specify crucible size for which they will be used.
