furnace for lead, cyanide, and salt hardening; No. 142 oven-type
furnace for hardening carbon and high speed steels ( temperature range
of 1300o to 2350oF.), and No. 175 atmospheric
drawing furnace (temperatures up to 1150oF.

This popular furnace
combination includes the powerful Johnson No. 142 Oven Furnace for
hardening (temp. range: 1300oF
to 2350oF.) and the Johnson No. 175 atmospheric fired
furnace for preheating and drawing (Temp. range: 400oF. to
150oF.). Parts being heat treated can be easily
transferring from one furnace to another. |

136 AND147 MULTI-PURPOSE FURNACES.
These compact multi-purpose
furnaces are designed for school shops where floor space and budgets
are limited. They combine all essential "hot metals" functions
in one rugged, easy to operate furnace. They can be used for
forging, soft metal melting, heat treating, and as crucible furnaces
for melting aluminum and brass. Requiring minimum floor space,
these new furnaces have low working height with the same rugged
construction features of all Johnson Furnaces. Furnished with
hearth plate, crucible support, lid, and lid lifting rod.
